Thoughts of a developing man: I’m so happy

I’m so excited!

God is a God of timing. He knows the plans he has for your life and things will happen at their appointed time. Okay, so I say most of this in my video, but I’m so excited. God used a blog post my friend wrote to send me a quick reminder for why I’m doing what I’m doing. The future can be scary, especially when something big is about to happen, but you have to have faith in God that everything will happen when they are suppose to happen. Sometimes it is best that we just be quiet and remember that there is no magic button. God works in His time and no time else. I’ve been in this funk for the last couple of weeks. I’ve been emotional drained and down myself, and I lost focus of why I’m doing this stuff. Thank God for using my friend Dara to help me refocus on my goal.

I’ve said it before, climb your own mountain. On the way up you may get to a point where you feel like you’re climbing up the same part over and over again. The treadmill phase. During this phase you look forward at the rock in front of you. That’s all you see, the hard, never changing rock. You lose sight of why you’re even on the mountain in the first place. Stop! Look up! Your vision is right there. Keep going! It may seem far, but like it says in the bible, “the vision is yet for an appointed time.”  This is God saying, #waitonit. When God has placed a vision on your heart, he didn’t just do it for fun. This is the plan he has for you. If you don’t know what plan God has for you, then pray and listen. He’ll tell you.

I’m so happy right now! I feel like I’m back on track! I’m about to start a new phase of my life. I have a vision and plan. Now is the time for me to be selfish. I have a lot to learn and I really want to focus on me and my personal growth. I’m learning to be an adult, like a real one.

This is the verse I live by: Habakkuk 2:2-3

Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry”

I love y’all, God loves y’all, Stay consistent
